Great menu, great service, great atmosphere. Our favorite restaurant in Belfast - for its consistency and friendly staff - we always know we’re going to get a great meal in a place “where everybody knows your name”. The proprietors, Cory and Lisa Chase, are committed to making sure eating at Darby’s is always a great choice, and in our experience, they haven’t disappointed!

We love Darby's. It is our go-to. Last night we made a full meal of delicious appetizers.

One of the best eateries in Belfast. Our family goes at least once each summer we vacation in Maine. Well-rounded menu featuring local specialties and beers. The Jarlsberg cheese dip is outstanding, and frankly, most of the reason we go.

Nice place in the centre of the town and good varieties of salads and burgers.

The food was ok, but pricey considering the quality. The waitress might have been overworked because she didn't come back very often and didn't give very good answers to my questions. The maple custard want very good.

Excellent, attentive, and prompt wait staff, clean and comfortable tavern restaurant. Many menu options from Thai dishes, Mexican dishes, and American fair. Very fair prices. Great location in downtown Belfast. From appetizer to desserts and drinks- everything always tastes good. Become a regular, they'll remember your name.

The Pad Thai was one of the best dishes that I have ever been served !! Atmosphere and service were also excellent.

My wife and I had a terrific time celebrating our anniversary at Darby's. They were so kind and treated us to desert. The Scottish toffee desert was off the charts delicious!! Many thanks n see you soon 😁

My favorite place to eat. I love the variety. My husband loves a steak cooked right, he is very picky and Darbys never disappoints. I enjoyed the chicken enchilada. Great food, great service.

This is a fun place to eat & imbibe. No stress atmosphere, good for couples or groups. Had a very good Cobb salad here.

Great recommendation by one of the locals, we tried the Pad Thai and the Great Buddha bowl. The Pad Thai became a little heavy but was delicious. A great local feel and good food. Why four stars? Their website is not secure and fortunately my computer protected itself from a Trojan Horse attack.

It was ok. Off the main drag. Appeared dark and closed, but it was not. Pleasant service, excellent food. The inside is huge and can def handle large parties.

Amazing clam chowder!

Darby's has been one of my favorite restaurants in Belfast for over 30 years. Always a great meal but a couple favorites are the burger, fish n chips, turkey club and the brownie sundae.

*Disclaimer Reservations recommended. However my boyfriend and I just got into town and were looking for somewhere to eat, and found this hidden gem! We walked in and the hostess/owner asked if we had *reservations we said no, willing to wait, sat us right away because a table for 2 just opened up. Then our waiter Alex D. gave us all the best reccomendations. We went off our beaten path and had the most amazing meal! Wish I could live closer to Maine so I could come back more often! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

We went on a Friday night, and they were playing live Irish music. Nice and loud in the bar area, but just in the background if you were seated in the dining area. The service was good. My husband had the special. A 12 ounce steak with gorgonzola and bacon with mashed potatoes and parmesan and coleslaw. The steak came out without the toppings, and when the hubby realized it, the waitress fixed it right away. I had a Bailey's Creme Brulee, which was amazing.

Not only a favorite of the tourist, but loved even more by the locals. The best part ? Taking home the amazing dessert for round 2

This is a quaint restaurant, good food. A little on the pricey side. There was live music when I was there on a Thursday evening. Very friendly, attentive waitstaff. Very enjoyable restaurant and will go back again!

Funky, old-fashioned, food good

Relatively reliable, I've never had a horrible or amazing meal it's all very average. If I ever want to go out to eat for lunch and don't know what I want I usually end up here. Nothing wrong with that.

Not bad, but not inspiring or memorable for the price. The menu has an odd variety. This could be helpful for some groups if everyone likes different types of food.

I have had the pleasure of visiting Darby's a few times now. Each time the service has been great and the food even better. The open-faced Reuben on house-made soda bread is outstanding.

Great prices and food. Interesting menu, not the same as every other pub. The chicken schnitzel with mushroom heavy is delicious.

We stopped by here while traveling. We enjoyed the atmosphere and liked the different rooms for dining. The night we were there a group of musicians were sitting around a table playing violins and other stringed instruments. The owner told us that they needed someplace to play so they let them come in on Thursday nights and play. This gave the room a fun friendly vibe. It seemed like a lot of locals eat there but they were very welcoming to strangers. My wife and I both ordered the mac and cheese and it was delicious. The others in our party had soup and seafood and were equally as happy with their choices. I would recommend this place.

Old Irish pub atmosphere. Great pub house burger. Cooked just right grilled onions n awesome aioli on ciabatta. Scrumptious. Will definitely go back again.

Darby's is eclectic. The menu, the vibe inside, all of it. The chicken schnitzel with mashes potatoes is pretty tasty. Their apps are all good. Strong martinis. Check out their menu online and then go check them out . They're just a good place to eat in Belfast.

The atmosphere was cozy, the food was yummy, the prices were affordable and the staff were wonderful. Can't wait to go back.

Excellent food, reasonable priced. The pumpkin spiced (seasonal) Shipyard beer was properly served in a pint glass rimmed with sugar and cinnamon .
